Well now there's a surprise. 3 channels moved off 129 and 72 and placed on 110 and Echo3 at 61.5.

It looks like we may be getting CSPAN3. DISH Earth moved to 295 and NASA took over DISH Earth's spot.

TMP43 and TMP44 look like HD versions of shopping/infomercial channels

The Indie and Retro moves are probably temporary, because these two channels are going to be removed from 363 and 365 respectively. The channel permanent locations are already operating on channels 378 and 379 respectively.

And of course the DISH Latino moves noted above.

anyone knows whats going on with RFDTVHD?is it still in testing i just checked in uplink reports and it is not there any help would be very appreciated.

Those TMPs do not match their 4xxx scheme...looks like they are toying with you guys now. Those are the 3 channels Scott mentioned yesterday.

Nice to see my new changes worked well on the local channel rename.

No, CSPN3 would logically go to 212, since 210 and 211 are CSPN and CSPN2. The INFO says it is happening on May 12th (one week from today).

The only reason to move NASA to 212 is for another Weather Channel that would then be contiguous with 214, or the most likely scenario is another NASA channel. There are several NASA channels on C-Band. One possibility is NASA-HD, which they would map down to 213, because the content is different from NASA-TV.

5370 is EPIX, so 5371 would logically be EPIX2.

The 270 channel range has two channels that a) are not shopping channels, b) have good relations with Dish and c) were just added by DirecTV in HD...

But if it's NASA, why don't they just tell us what they're doing? It shouldn't be a secret when the channels are public-domain. (Although Dish recently did a very stupid thing and encrypted NASA after having it in the clear forever.)

I am a little confused...I am on 61.5 and now I see indie and retro HD but they say they have moved...(I never had them in the first place)...and the channels they have moved to do not exist on any of my my lists ....do I still have to get an Eastern arc dish to see these and the rest of the new HD?
Thanks
