Anyone heard information about how the 5 LNB dish and the Spaceway satellites will affect stacker technology and multi-user dwelling installations?

Well using from 250-2150 is going to put a crimp on stackers and selecting from 5 satellites will make MDUs much harder.:)

250 thats cable tv that is definatly going to affect us in the high rise business. Has any one heard if NAS is working on any new products to stack all these frequencies?

Those are stacked frequencies that Directv is using but only the H20 so far can handle them.:)

Can the D10 handle the new 5lnb dish stacked signal or is there a new model out. I currently run an auto detect for sonora stacked systems also does any one have specs on the new LNB which satellite is running on what frequencies? Does 101 still start at 950MHz.

Firewire, welcome to the forums! :welcome

The D10 can only handle the 5lnb as it would handle a single or 3lnb unstacked antenna. And the 5lnb is not easily stacked to look like a single or 3lnb that is stacked. It could be done if the stackers filtered out the stuff that D* already stacks to get the 5lnbs all on one coax.

Happy Holidays,
Tom
