510 lost all recordings

Hello all,
I have just experienced what seems to be a common thing, my 510 lost all the recordings and the hard drive said 60 hr remaining. Have not had any power issues, also have 721 and its fine? I live in a small bush Alaskan town and I am now the 5-6 person here who has had this happen, are they sending crappy 510's to us out in the bush or what?

I have had my 510 for a year now have not heard of this problem.

Seems to me Dish treat our recordings as TEMP folder on theyr DVR/PVR as any computer OS . If your'll think same way, then make backup or copy of your PVR disk to safe place. Hint :Yahoo Dishrip group.

Our 510 is just about one year old. I know several people who have also had this problem. I was hoping to hear from others it has happend to, and see if it can be prevented
