510 receiver temperature error

I think it's error code 346 or 348 - low operating temperature error - below 40 degrees. It's in a warm place - 60-70 degree. Other functions have started to act buggy and it will no longer recognize satellite signal.

I've rebooted - shut off power - reinserted smartcard with power off - checked cable connections.

I am hoping to confirm that this is purely a receiver going bad. I'm about to replace the receiver out of pocket and want to rule out the possibility that something else is causing the problem.

Any suggestions?

DHPP is only $5.99 why replace it out of your pocket?

So I can sign up for that and get it replaced.. and then cancel the next month if I wanted to? That's what I'll do. It seems like Dish would be losing a lot of money on that deal - or make you have signed up before you have the equipment problem. But I'll take it.
