522 install help needed

Just received my replacement 522 for the obsoleted 721. Hooked it up but the 522 is not seeing 110. In the dish info screen, it only is showing 119.

The reciever is not activated yet as my wife will kill me if she can't watch her shows tonight.

Any thoughts as to why by swapping the cable from the 721 to the 522 (same inputs to inputs - ie input 1 to input 1)?

System is a Dish 500 with a dp34.

Did you reconnect your 721 and run checkswitch again? You can also move one of your other receivers to that location and test 110. Check both cables, its possible a port on the switch might be going bad. If they both show 110 on the moved receiver or 721, it sounds like you might have a bad 522.

I finally got it. I took everything apart and started over. It is working now.

Now to figure out how to force another guide update - my local stuff isn't showing up.

That and is there a way to minimize PIP and keep the other input spooling like on the 721?
Watching two things at once, spooing both but having one input full screen.

I hate learning new equipment.

Seems to be running the way I want and I can do what I was able to do before - and no annoying little box in the corner. Yeah!
