Hi all,
Installer currently has 522 TV-2 feed combined with a seperate satellite feed from dp34 using a diplexer and then running (via single RJ6 cable) to the second room. Another diplexer splits the signals in the room and TV-2 is connected to the television directly and the other satellite feed is connected to an 811 for HDTV. This works great so far. I would like to mount an antenna on the roof for local HD reception. Is there any way to use that same existing RJ6 cable to carry the UHF antenna signal to the 811 as well? Is there a triplexer ;)
I'd like to avoid running another cable if possible.

Thanks, Oznolab

Drop the 522 Tuner 2 signal off the diplexer and you can use that diplexer to send the HDTV signals to the 811. That is the easy answer. With the right channel output from the 522 and careful signal balancing you should be able to combine your OTA and the 522 signal on the diplexers. You may have to add another pair of diplexers and do some signal combining in the attic or other common area.

I think there's a device called a "combiner" that the antenna and 522 2nd output would go into, then use that to drive the existing diplexer.
