522 won't activate timers

Does anyone know why the 522 is not recording timers that are setup??? its not that i don't know what im doing i use to have a 721 so setting up the record is easy but yet the unit isn't recording anything! i have the unit setup on one tv going to 2 different video outputs! When i press record to manually record a show it records! JUST WONT RECORD FUTURE TIMERS!

Yeah, 522 can be buggy at times. First things first. When was the last time you rebooted it? That needs to be done fairly often for it to work reasonably, but certainly after any software updates or changes in programming.
