They switched Louisville over to EA a while back. Probably going to do the same for BG. Call in and get your dish changed.

There's plenty others like that, including Hartford Ct. for instance. Reason? One of many is because there is not much room left on the Western Arc to add HD channels. People with older receivers is another. 129 satellite having most of the HD on the WA is another.

If Dish puts your HD locals up on a satellite you can't receive, they should install a dish for you that will work gratis.

Amarillo Texas lit up on 61.5 yesterday, almost everyone out here is on WA, so the rumor is that Dish techs will be busy little bees for a couple of weeks, especially with Lubbock and 2 or 3 other HD locals markets scheduled to light up on 61.5, too.

Amarillo got 5 major local nets in HD, but Lubbock has 8 locals uplinked in HD, I guess Amarillo has no MYTV, CW or Univision stations in HD.

When the new spotbeam satellite (Echostar 16) went into service at 61.5, the mapping between all those spot beams and what's in the data stream (transponder ID), was unknown. Nelson61 (?) has been getting that mapping updated so that TheList! has the great spotbeam ground maps, and not just "unknown TID". There are so many spotbeams, this has been a laborious process. And when new ones are lit up, then Nelson61 (?) adds that to his tables. HEnce, "we're getting there", meaning getting near completion of this job.
