As of today 30 July 2005 is anyone having a problem with there 6000 after the latest download, it plays for awhile then goes into a searching mode (acquiring sat signal)? I tried a switch test it can't find switch, next I took my 311 and moved it to that room and took the cable from the 6000 and put it on the 311 it did a switch check (saw everything) downloaded the guide and played normally (this will eliminate any cables or switches in that path).
