612 outputs?

I'm at a neghibors house trying to figure out the best way to upgrade their 508 to HD. I know the 612 is listed as one hd output. My question is does it have a modulated output to drive a 2nd sd tv? Thanks.

No. That's the difference b/t the 612 and the 622 (or 722) - the 612 can only be used for one TV even though it has two tuners. One upside of the 612 is that because it is only for one TV it doesn't have to be hooked up to a phone line/broadband.

According to the manual, the 612 has a complete set of video outputs: HDMI, Y Pb Pr, S-Video, Composite and an RF output carrying a modulated signal from the receiver. However all outputs have the same program on them. You can't watch one program on the HDMI output and another on the composite or RF output.
