This may not be really new but I just found out yesterday that both 622 and 211 can be purchases at Fry's here in NorCal. The prices are the same as those from some online retailers.

Honestly, I don't know. But I thought that you're stuck with the 18 months only if you lease it. But again I might be wrong.

There were two in Sunnyvale on the shelves last night. I bought one of them. Yep, $499, no strings attached. I figured as long as I can sell it for more than $200, I'm ahead of the $299 lease deal, so I bought it.
