622 and PVR150 recording

I have my DishNework 622 s-video out run to my Hauppauge PVR150. The 622 sends out the s-video signal in widescreen ratio, but the PVR150 records it as 4x3. Is there a way to get the PVR150 to record widescreen aspect ratio?

You might try changing the Aspect ratio to 4:3 located under the HD setup on the 622.

Hit the STAR (*) key on the remote and try toggling though those options.

Unfortunately the HD and Sd outputs on the 622 are tied together. If you get wide screen on your SD recorder you will have to put up with strched 16X9 on your HDTV.

The 211 otoh has SD and HD set up seperately and works very well at having an HD picture in proper porportion and an SD picture widescreen letterboxed simultaneously.
