My second month with the 622 here. Really enjoying the DVR function. So my hard drive is getting full and I was in middle of watching the oldest program on the DVR. I stopped the oldest program I was watching and went to eat for 20 mins. A new recording started and the DVR deleted the partially watched program I was watching. I would have thought that since the oldest program I was watching had a resume button when I stepped away to eat that that show would not be deleted but the next show would. I guess I am learning as I go.

If your Hard Drive is full, the oldest recording is dropped unless you have it protected. If it had enough space for the new recording, nothing should have been erased.
Also remember, this is just a guide. The actual content recorded my vary from this.
Its certainly a painful lesson.
I try to never let the HDD get below 10hrs of free HD. Just to keep my stuff safe. Then again, I tend not to save stuff for a long time.
