622 Hard Drive ?

I finally convinced Dish to send me a new 622 because my HDMI port died. It showed up yesterday and is a revision "F" model.

This might be a dumb question, but I've got some stuff on my old 622 hard drive that I'm not going to have time to watch before sending it back. Is it possible to open the cases and swap the two hard drives or are they mated to the individual 622's? Is there anything else that would prevent me from doing this? I dont' see any warranty stickers on either 622 that I'd be breaking if I opened the case.

Mine was an "E" sent to me 2 weeks ago and it was a refurbished one! Was yours new or refurb?

If most of your recording are SD and also have the PocketDish, it may give you an alternative way to save the contents. You can always play the PocketDish through your TV.......
