I got a replacement 622 on Monday, activated it and it was working fine. I got home on Tuesday and unit was stuck in a rebooting loop. I unplugged it, then plugged it back in and it does it searching for sats test and as soon as its done, it reboots again? Is there anything I can do before I call tech support? Is there a way to force the original firmware back on and start with a "fresh" start?

Sounds like the new software update broke the receiver. You'll probably will need to contact Tech Support to help you on this one. There's no way to force a previous or original software on these receivers, they just force you to get new software.

The latest one is L616, and no L615 was the bad one. Turn off the receiver and leave it in standby for 20-30 minutes, it should update to L616 (it's spooling to all receivers). Hopefully the new update will fix the reboot issue. If the reboots continue after L616, time to call Tech Support.
