622 problem, please help!

I know this has been said many many many many times, but today, after about 3 weeks, my 622 has lost the HDMI connection. I've read and read how everyone has had this problem. My question, I bought the 622 from dishdepot.com, do I call them for a replacement or do I call Dish Network, and what do I need to say or who do I need to talk to? Thanks :confused:
 
I would call DISH TECH support. your unit is registered with them and they shoud support it. That is my opinion. It can't hur to call them first.
 
Called tech support, they gave me so long drawn out story about the 622 I have is in perfect condition, blah, blah, blah, finally got them to agree to send a replacement, and the tech said it may be refurbished because he doesn't think I am having an HDMI problem, he then said after this I will not get another replacement and that if HDMI doesn't work on this one them I am S.O.L. ??? Is this correct or what this another stupid tech? :mad: :mad: :mad:
