Help! I have searched the forum and couldn't find an answer to this so I apologize if it's been asked. I have had the 622 installed for about 6 months. 3 months ago it started to lock up randomly for no apparent reason and it would require a hard reset from the front panel. It happens on average once a day. I had worked with Dish tech support and they swapped the receiver, and the new one did it also. The tech support folks said my signal was sufficient and that they were at a loss as to what could be happening. Recently I've had a few recording programs stop 30 minutes into the recording reset the receiver then pick back up as soon as it locks the satellites again. Also I will note that about 6 months ago I had a switch problem and the installer came out and replaced my LNB. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I have a SD dual tuner that never has any issues.

Check the temperature of your HD, if the unit gets hot it can exhibit this behavior.
Another cause might be dirty power (static or spikes over your power lines).
