625 cooling solutions?

Hi! I found this forum while searching for a solution to my rebooting problem I kept having from the very first hour of having it installed. Of course it was heat, which I learned thanks to you guys! All the solutions I find for cooling here bring up the 622. How similar are these models? Many thanks from hot & humid (though not today) Chicago. T

pretty much same both have no vent holes on top of the unit
only diff i know of is 622 is hd 625 not and 622 bigger hdd, looks to me both units in same shell just different color
id take the top of the 625 off and hookup a usb laptop cooler and place that on top of the 625

I've used a laptop cooler on both the 625 and the 622, it works great.

The 522 (aka 625) I owned lived happily without a top cover until I sold it. The ViP622 now lives the same way.
