my 625 keeps going to standby mode and I have the inactive timer set to 8 hours and dissabled but it goes off after 4 hours every time, anyone got n ideas?

Wish I could help but have no idea. I have issues with my 625. I upgraded one of my 510's for a 625 about two weeks ago. 1st receiver would not let me slow motion. Would go back to live tv. Dish has sent two replacements that had more problems. Glad I sent them back and kept the 1st one. At present I am going to keep things as they are. Way to much work pulling the receiver out of my stereo cabinet. 1st one is new the other two are refurbished ones. Personally the 4 hour standby mode wouldn't bother me. What I don't like is that moving Dish logo that is displayed whether the box is in standby mode or off. About the only thing I can recommend is rebooting the thing or calling DISH. Good Luck!
