I have had Adelphia HD for some time. Just today I picked up the new HD DVR. I asked th CSR if the firewire was active, he felt sure it was. I picked up a firewire cable at Radio Shack. I hooked the DVR to my JVC HD VCR. My Mitsubishi immediately recognized the device as a firewire device!! So naturally I thought I was on my way to archiving those programs that I want to keep. However, when I switched Net Command to "Tuner" (the name of the recognized device 6412) I got the program the 6412 was tuned to , but I could not record with the JVC. So then I switched Net Command to "DVCR", I got no picture at all, even though when I pushed "REC" it did record. Any ideas?? Have I got something hooked up wrong? Or, do you think the firewire is not active? It must be active otherwise I don't believe the Mits would have recognized it. Any help is appreciated, Thanks
