Spectrum cloud dvr now available to more packages

I subscribe to spectrum select but only use a Apple TV 4K box and Roku’s. I just found out the other day that the cloud dvr is now available for the select package. Before it was only available for the spectrum stream and choice packages. It costs 9.95 for cloud dvr plus. So far I like it. I can also program what I want to record on my app on my phone. I think there is also a smaller dvr fee where recordings are only saved for 90 days for $4.95 a month. So I now have dvr functions with no garbage dvr box. The rep who helped me on the phone also said this became available 9 days ago.

I upgraded to Cloud DVR Plus for my TV Choice package as soon as I read this post a couple weeks ago. Love it! May I add that if you choose to save a recording it’s saved for 365 days instead of 90. It also has 100 recordings capacity instead of 50. So far I see it as an excellent upgrade.

I didn't realize there were recording limits on the cloud DVR. We just got one month as a test to see if my wife would like it. She would go over that limit with just the Hallmark movies she records, not to mention the network stuff. I doubt we will keep it more than a month. The Roku with the Spectrum App is NOTHING like a Hopper 3.

Yes. I considered the streaming only with cloud DVR option with Spectrum, but the DVR capacity was anemic.
