721 Crashes Again!

Well, I got my RMA'd 721 on Wednesday, and at first it wouldn't see tuner 1 at all (yes, I swapped cables, and it stayed with Tuner 1). So I unplugged everything, including AC, and re-cabled it, and so far it's now working.

I did have a strange occurance last nite where it popped the "I need a tuner" screen, and before I could hit select, it went away, and then
I could hit menu, but not select.

I wound up power-button rebooting it, which screwed up the shows I was recording.

Has anyone else seen this weirdness (L116HABD FWIW).

Next time that happens press the INFO button on your remote and see what comes up. This has happened to me in the past (but not since I got the OpenTV beta a few months ago)

I was getting the system info screen.

Yup you ran into the Global Key bug. Again this one appears to be fixed in the new software which should be available soon.

My 721 crashed last night but no problem since then.
