721 Doorstop?

Many E* subs have 721's that no longer work with Dish. Has any one found a use for them. Other than the hard drive, are there an usable parts? Thanks for any input.

it's good only for those ppl who doing repair of 501,508 and 510 - same tuner hip.

How hard is it to take the tuner chip out and put it into the 501/508/510? Any soldering involved?

I believe it's the tiny surface-mount soldering, not the big easy kind.
