722 keeps resetting ?

Last Night My 722 receiver kept shutting down and resetting (about 3 times)this occurred during last nights episode of Lost.Its never done that before,was anyone else experiencing this problem,or is it posible Receiver is going bad.Just want to find out if anyone else experienced this before I contact Dish.

My 722 has been re-booting itself much more in the past few days for seemingly no reason. Has E* spooled new software lately?

Get the RCVR swapped out. The only solution that worked for me... twice in a 2 month span. One replacement never worked right out of the box. Same rebooting symptoms. The 2nd replacement has been flawless.

Mine had been doing it for 2 days (last Sunday and Monday), but at the same time strong winds had moved my dish where I was sporatically picking up 110 and 119 and had lost 129. When it wouldn't pick up any sats, it would reboot about every 10 minutes. Hasn't done it since the dish was realigned. But L617 has really made the 722 do some goofy stuff! Check out the thread!

It is possible your DVR is overheated; check temps under Counters in Menu; open a cover for day or two and watch if reboots will continue.
