722 Map Down of Local Channels

I have found various info on mapping down local and HD channels. Can someone tell me if the 722 has problems with mapping the locals? I also have a 622 and the map down works perfectly. I wish I knew this before I went through the trouble to get a 722.

It has almost been 24 hours and still no mapping of locals. Dish tells me it's the software

It sometimes takes over 24 hours till the map down starts working. Have you double checked the settings found under the local channel screen?

I have checked the setting. I even disabled them then re-enabled to see but still not working.

Maybe tomorrow all will be good.

I upgraded to a 722 from a 622 a couple weeks ago. I had the same issue on the day of the swap. A couple of "check switch" and reboot actions AFTER I scanned and saved the OTA stations forced a new download of the channel guide and voila...guide was filled.

The 722 uses the same software as the 622. Just give it some time.

Well it's almost 48 hours and still no map down of locals.

65 hours later and another call to Dish finally got it resolved. The tech had to re-initialize my receiver.

You do not know how nice this feature is until it is gone.
