I have several dish two tuner dvr units each of which have one remote operation over UHF. Several walls and ceilings make very poor signal transmission. I was discussing this with a installer recently and he indicated that I could send the UHF signal over the same cable that the video signal uses. I am not sure what device he said to use, diplexers or separators or ?. Also some device must pick up the remote's signal and feed it into the cable? Can someone explain what devices to use and how to connect considering that there are all ready diplexers in use to feed the video signal.

Thanks. . .

Thanks for the quick reply. My wiring is little more complicated but I think I can see where to put the splitters. When I get it set up and tested I will post a drawing.

I ran a seperte cable to a central location and added a amp. some walls are metal lathe.

it worked almost too good, with amp set to max it would work 5 houses away.

so i cut amp gain back and keep my receivers locked, so a neighbor cant acidently buy PPV porn or something..
