It may be coincidence, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this. My 722K has frozen (requiring reboot) about a dozen times in the last few months. But always and only on one channel (149, Fox Soccer Channel).
Weirdly, the same thing happened with my second box. The only two times it has ever locked up completely was when watching something recorded off of FSC.
