I do remember seeing somewhere something about the possibility of Extra Time being "On Demand". But it mentioned and then the thought drifted away in the article, never to be touched again.

I noticed Dtv added QVCHD! Not that I give a rats ass about shopping channels in HD, but if the HD is at or near capacity for the western US what is in the works to remedy that situation? I know switching everyone to mpeg4 receivers would gain some space, but how many slots would it create. Any new hd sats in the works? Seems the E-W arc was a bad idea. Wouldn't it have been better to have a couple of sats feeding both E & W with channels common to all (CNN, SPIKE, etc.) with the fringe sats (61.5 - 129) for localized spotbeams. And what will the 4-K do to the current sat-transponder load?

That is what I want to see... waiting till October is not something that should happen either. CFB season starts in 2 weeks - we need ESPNU in HD now, not half way thru the season!

We're weeks from September; however, this is coming from a guy whose life has flipped upside down in the last several months, and now TV is that thing my wife a daughters enjoy.
