Was hoping to get a slot in the guide with a test pattern on the screen before then so I could at least set a timer to record the first moments of the broadcast.

I am hearing it will appear sometime between now and 5pm ET.

Not sure if this will work, depends on how the guide populates, but since the first show to air on the network is "SEC Now" I set a "Dish Pass" ("Seek & Record" for Hoppers?) for that title on "All Channels".

SEC network and Longhorn network have been added to the WatchESPN app. You'll need to update app..
