I'm using a DVI cord for my video connection with a toslink to my surround sound system. I am also trying to run RCA for sound from my 811 to my TV for situations where I don't want to use my surround sound. When I do this I'm running it from output 2 I beleive (output one is going to my VCR), into the back of my tv... when I do this I get sound but am unable to control the volume on it.... thoughts?

Use the volume control on the TV and make sure you are using the audio input which uses the TV's volume control. Some TVs have a setting which fixes the audio level so it it controlled by the outside source. Make sure that isn't engaged.
