811 Waiting List Price Question?

I am on the list like many of your are. When I called Dish last week about the $149.00 price they told me it was not guaranteed. WTF! They said the price could go up and it depends on when your 811 comes in. Does anyone have a different story on how to approach this? I have a 811 but it cost me $400 plus! I want another for the master b.room. Thanks for replys! Bill

I just recieved a call from Dish that my 811 will be installed on Mar.6(we'll see),I've been on the waiting list since 1/16/04.The price they gave me was
the $149 they told me when I signed up for it.So I imagine if you were exclusive
when you signed up for it you still are now.Also had to commit to 1 year of
the HD pack,which is ok since I had that anyway.

Well, if that can be used as a gauge, then I should hear from them next week this time (my waiting list signup date was exactly one week after yours, 1/23/04).
