Anybody know the reason why the HD RED ZONE channel is on two different sats on the EA?

stupid questions from me since I've been locked on the "AT120" type package my whole life. I see the jump to AT200 is like $15 more per month. Could I get MLB Network if add Multisport for $7 more per month or is my AT120 not a qualifying package?

you would need AT120+ (note the plus) which is $5 more than AT120. It includes your RSN. Then you can add multisport. BUT I hear from the grapevine (ie: threads) that Dish is giving it away for free to qualifying folks (or maybe its a penny) til January. PM a DIRT member

I think I'll just look into DIRECTV - certainly I can upgrade my small dish reception to HD (I just have DISH SD now), add the Mtn. and get MLB Network on DIRECTV for less than the $13-15 more a month it would cost me to upgrade and add various things to my AT120 just to get MLB Network on DISH.

$204 over the 24 month committment ($8.50/month avg savings) saved by going with DIRECTV and then who knows in month 25 when you have to reevaluate coming back to DISH and see if the HD access fee is still around for one or both that could make a big difference in the monthly bill to give the edge to one or the other. It's hard to imagine with MPEG4 HD compression making the HD channels less bandwidth than a SD channel combined with the price of HDTV's being cheaper in 2 years so that you can't find a house that doesn't have a HD set that DISH and DIRECTV will continue that HD access junk fee other than it being 100% free money to shareholders.
