OK, please don't roast me, but I still am using my 921 and would like to go ahead and upgrade to a 722. Can somebody tell me what offer I should hold out for from from Dish? Do I still have to give them my $1000 unit that I own? Can I use the 921 on another set if they let me keep it, etc. Thanks in advance for your help!

I just retired my 921 a couple of months ago. A 722 will cost you $199 upfront with a $100 rebate. I have seen some post that they got theirs for $149 minus the $100. That's supposed to be what the 622 charge is, dunno how they accomplished that. 622 records 25 hrs. of HD, 722 is 55. This is a lease, of course. No big deal, I'll never buy a receiver again. Yes, you can keep your 921 hooked up but can only receive the few old HD (mpeg2) channels. Do what I did and tell 'em you spent all that $$$ for the buggy 921 and you want to lease 2 722's or one of each. I got one of each. You'll LOVE the 622/722, use the 921 for a paper weight or door stop, LOL. OR they'll give ya a whopping $10 to return it!
