Just noticed this at a neighbors place down the road. I had to do a double take. I thought the round dish was obsolete? All the other ones around here a typical 1000 style dish. Thanks for any info.

They are transitioning from the 1000.2 dish to the one you took a pic of....a dish 500.
I'm still using 1000.2 stuff because I have so many parts related to it. Back in the day when I was doing 20-30 per month it would have been an easy transition.

We are full on Dish 500 kits now and have been for about a year, other than DPPs and EA dishes which we almost never use anymore

They kept us in the dark 100% as far as the D500 stuff goes....I pretty much resign myself to being treated like a mushroom. I'm sure my distributor is more than happy when I order the 1000.2 stuff because otherwise they would be stuck with it.

I haven't figured out why RSPs got the 500 kits before in-house and retailers
