These new 32.0 have less range than the UHF pro remotes that all my other receivers use. Anyone have any ideas on increasing the range?

Easy fix. Just remove the antenna and connect a coax cable. You will also need a cable coupler to join the antenna to the end of the cable but it will extend the range. I no longer have to point it at the 922 in the other room. I also was able to move it above the entertainment system that might have been blocking the signal.

And just how did you do that on a 922 when it uses a different connector?

After running the 922 to 3 tv's the antenna fix was the easy part, lol, I might have just got lucky since I just grabbed a spare Coax cable and bought the $3 coupler at Wal-Mart. The remote was unusable before and perfect now so not bad for a fix that cost under $15 total to make a $600 device function the way that it should.

you must have used a pliers and forced the conection because the UHF ant on the 922 does not use a standard F connector,l the threads are different.

Now that you mention it I did have some issues with the cable connecting to the 922 side so I swapped out the cable for one with the quick connect that does not screw in. I am a Systems specialist by trade so I keep a supply of cables from when I used to do field work so maybe not as easy as a described but still doable and cheap. I too was very disappointed by the 922 lack of range but happy with it overall since I have been waiting on the 922 since the first CES to switch from Charter.

Has any 922 user come up with an easier way to extend the range of the 32.0 remote. I went to an electronics store and looked through their entire collection of connectors - no luck. Thanks.

Not sure what they are talking about! So use a slip on type of RG-6 and at the end where you need to connect the small factory antenna you will have a female! Sure you can slip in a double male, but then you have the wrong threads to connect to the antenna. The antenna needs to be screwed all the way in, will not thread in and at point blank range with the 32.0 remote you will not be able to control the 922. The problem is the difference in connector threads on the 922 antenna, I agree they are not available at any electronics store. Please post the description of the treadded adapter and Walmart does not have them.
