942 and OTA HD recording question

I have had conflicting answers to this question.

With the 942, can you or can you not record the OTH HD channels?

I just know someone on this forum can answer this question correctly because Dish CSR's can't agree on an answer.

Yes, you can record your local digitals from the PG (if you subscribe to your locals through E* in order to receive guide data) or by setting a manual timer. DC is my home DMA and recording through the PG works like a charm. Likewise, I also receive programming from the Baltimore and Richmond VA DMAs and must set manual timer if I wish to record these events. Again, this too works as advertised.
