if you are an existing dish customer, can you add the 942 as long as the $250 upgrade fee is paid, or is it only avail to new dish customers like the 522?? A good friend of mine recently purchased a 62" Mitsubishi HDTV and has a 522, but would like the 942 for the hdtv/dvr. Can they do this or is it not an option
942 upgrade?

The 942 lease is not available to current subscribers. The only way an existing customer can get a 942 is to buy one.
