At the moment, I have a simple $10 antenna hooked up to my Samsung digital converter box and I am able to receive all of my local digital OTA channels except my NBC affiliate. However, with analog I can get a fairly good picture for my NBC affiliate, but hardly anything for the rest of the channels. Does anyone know why this is?

Secondly, I have a large outdoor antenna that I would love to install on the roof, but I have absolutely no clue how. Would it be feasible for me to try it on my own or just hire someone?

I'm a little confused by the question. Are you taking your antenna off of the Sam DCB and connecting to an ntsc tuner for analog?? Or does the Sam have both digital and analog tuners in it? Have you been to http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx yet?

If your handyman enough and/or know someone that can help, you can do it.
