A letter drom Directv about HD distant!

I got a letter from Direct saying that you may only have HD network channels in your time zone. It also states that if you want to keep them you must sign up for your locals by Aug. 25. This is a complete contradiction to the postcard that I received months ago about choosing your distant networks or having your local channels. Anyone else?
