I just recently got a HD receiver. I currently have a dual tuner 322 installed and working. I want to keep the 322 and add the 811. So currently I have one cable running in from my dishpro 500. I want to take the 2nd output and run it to the hd receiver. PROBLEM: I need that second output to also run in on the same cable the first is on. So can I add some kind of switch or plexer and once inside the house seperate the signal? so 3 tuners 2 outputs on one cable that runs into the house.

Thanks in advance.

Current setup:

Dishpro500 LNB1 -----PVDP2 Diplexer---322 receiver(dual tuner)(living room)

__________________6 way splitter

_________________other rooms

what I want:

Dishpro500 LNB1-
_______________|-something --something---811 HD receiver
Dishpro500 LNB2-________________|
_____________________PVDP2 Diplexer---322
______________________________|
_________________________6 way splitter
______________________________|
__________________________other rooms

(disregard the _ underscores)

POSSIBLE?

THANKS.

322 and 811

You will need to run another cable from the dish to that second receiver no splitters or diplexors will work to connect up 2 receivers on 1 coax cable, the separator that is on the back of the 322 (looks like a splitter) will only work for dual tuner receivers as well.
