I know people have had issues with local commercial inserts recently. This is something different.

It's easy to tell the Directv-inserted ads (local/national) on ESPN because the ticker goes away. Last night, twice during Sportscenter, the same 2 Starbucks commercials played over and over again. I counted 4 cycles of the ads after I noticed it, so there were at least 7. These commercials were EXTREMELY loud compared to everything else. When the commercials finally stopped, it was well into the segment of Sportscenter. The second time it happened, I changed channels and went back and it was still the commercials. Today, I just experienced it with the same commercials on The Travel Channel. Has anyone else seen this?

The Directv-inserted commercials in general are not smooth and the local ones always cut off the first and last 2 seconds of audio. The Cinema ads audio is often left-center only. The commercials are becoming annoying in general with the glitches that seem to get worse. Hopefully after today, there will be fewer local ads because most of the ones I see are political.

Please save the "I don't watch live TV" stuff - I do for sports. It's just not the same unless it's live to me.

Yep. I've noticed it on many channels. Just last night on ESPN they played the John Denver "values.com" commercial twice (maybe three times) then it abruptly came into the middle of sports center highlights.
