Hi Everyone-

My 622 is intermittently giving me the error "a problem has been detected with your switch..." This occurs randomly as I channel surf. Any ideas? I have the following:

dish 500
dish 300
dp34 switch
quad & dual lnb

I have already switched the coaxial cables on the rear of the 622. I have not seen it on my 522 or 510.

Thanks,
J

I had this too, basically it looked like one of the sats was in trouble as it was channels only on that Sat (110 in my case). Doing the checkswitch as suggested has cleared it. Seems like it's a bit like a computer occaisionally it needs a reboot.

I had his one time on my 510, with no switches, one rx, one satellite very simple.. I rebooted and it didn't go away.
I then messed around changing the lnb and checking cables etc in panic mode.
It persisted but then after 2 or 3 checkswitch goes round it cleared .
So Im not sure what really fixed it.
I suspect I witnessed one of the many faces of the current software debacle.

I had the same problem several months ago. It seems to have disappeared for now. The only thing I ever did was run the "check switch" diagnostic several times and switched the incoming coax on my 322. Every once in a while I'll get an "acquiring satellites" dialog for a few seconds, but then it goes away (usually it's clear weather).
