I have found the instructions for connecting my 722k to my Wifi network. Exactly what will I have then that I don't have now?

You will have a 722k connected to wifi.

You will have the capability to stream pay per view movies and some free stuff down to your tv. ALso, your receiver can call home via the internet instead of a phone line.

Will also be able to control your dvr remotely to schedule recordings and delete items on the dvr. I've found it easier to set priorities from my computer than using the remote.
