ABC News VideoSource and Helinet to Offer Hurricane Katrina Footage

(New York, NY and Van Nuys, CA -- February 21, 2006) -- ABC News and Helinet Aviation Services today announced that ABC News VideoSource has exclusive rights to distribute high-definition footage of Hurricane Katrina.
ABC News VideoSource will have full worldwide distribution rights of 20 days of high-definition footage captured when Helinet¹s helicopters were the only civilian aircraft in the New Orleans area.
³Hurricane Katrina was one of the year¹s major news stories, and this footage will be a vital addition to our historic video library,² said Bernard Gershon, senior vice president and general manager, ABC News Digital Media Group.
³We are pleased to be joining forces with ABC News VideoSource for the distribution of this exclusive footage,² said David Calvert-Jones, chief executive officer of Helinet Aviation Services.
