? about HR22 receiver

Hello, I wanted to ask if there is a way to switch between the 2 tuners without having to actually tell the receiver to record both channels? On my SD-DVR40 I just press the down arrow on the circular button on the remote. Thanks

Directv DVR do not have dual live buffers so that TiVo feature dosen't exist.
