Accessing external HDD from one HWS to another?

I've not seen a customer try this when I install them but I was curious if it was possible? You can access recordings from one or the other to each other but can you access an external HDD on one HWS from another?

I don't think its possible which is rather sad but figured I'd ask.

I've not been able to get it to work on my two HWSs.

One Hopper can not see the EHD on the other Hopper, 2000's or HWS's.....

Yeah I'm kinda hoping they do come out with some update that will allow it, would certainly be very nice to have.

Would be nice too if you could access the external HDD attached to a HWS with Dish Anywhere. One of the reasons I still use an external Slingbox.

You could do it with a 722. When I asked DIRT about it I was told it was bug in the 722's software. BRING BACK THE BUG!
