Is there a way to launch the Active Directory for Users and Computers from the local Administrator account on a machine?

My group shares a laptop for weekend on call and instead of having 10 different profiles, we all want to log in as the local admin account and connect to our VPN that way.

Active Directory won't launch because we're not logged in as someone with credentials. Is there a way around this?

You can either right-click and select "Run-As..." or RDP to one of your servers after you have connected and do what you need from there.

ADUC must have the proper credentials to run, so you cannot do it with the local admin acct.

total security violation.. most places I've been at wouldn't allow that.. but like steven said.. just run as a domain account when you run it..
