I thought in order to use the two tuners in the wally, you had to use a hybrid lnb or the dp switch. Am I wrong?

Any DishProPlus (DPP) or Hybrid LNB or switch will provide the Wally with both tuners, as long as an external hard drive is connected.

In order to use the two tuners in the Wally, you have to have the DVR functionality enabled and hook up an external hard drive, since there is no PIP or independent viewing on a second TV.

The switch is built into the DPP LNB.

I think you cascade multiple splitters. HipKat described how it works once, although I think he said that even he has not actually seen this setup in person.

That's it. You cascade them. I know I've seen posts from Commercial techs that talk about doing it that way. So far, they're still the only ones that are getting these Channel Stacking SPlitters
