Addl Receiver Access Fee

Here is a story.
At March 07 I upgraded my 811 receiver with VIP622.
Yesterday I got my new bill from Dish. Here is a part of it:

It took me over 2 hours of conversations last night with (3) CSR’s explained them that 299.99 should include all installations and equipment. What I couldn’t get is why they charging me Addl Receiver Access Fee 6.00 . The explanations were different every time I asked, but they won't take it away.
I have only one receiver in the house and it is connected to the phone line. When I called for upgrade CSR stated that I should pay 49.99 for the Bronze and 5.98 DVR Fee.
Did anybody know if they suppost to charge this?
My understanding was that this fee should be waived for the first receiver.

Should be called "Leased Receiver Fee" but since 622 is $6.00 and not $5.00 could be it.

Hope you got that 180 credited finally. Amazing how many people have reported these things on their bill.

gary is correct, should be lease fee. Got your phone line plugged in?

The $6.00 is the 622 lease fee it is always there on any leased receiver, and if that receiver is a DVR then you will have &5.98 DVR fee on top of that.

Yeah they must've put something in there system that adds those installation charges. They better get it fixed because it looks to really be screwing everyone up
