"The painter of light," right? This guy was right up there though perhaps no longer greatly appreciating. So yeah, there should be a decent market, and waiting isn't adding to valuation. Especially given your fiscal situations, it would seem to behoove to monetize at least some of this art in the near term and to suss out its likely value.

yes. the Kinkade Company today is also comprised of a bunch of artists that produce new art in his style. they make a TON of money on prints. Disney is one of their biggest licensees and it's incredible the volume of what they churn out, just for Disney.

that's why i thought that if Scott had original Kinkades of which have never been seen before, the Kinkade Company might want to buy them to produce new prints.

In 2025, his style is so known and repeatable (see above) that I have no doubt those artists will be replaced by AI in the next 5 years. You might be right that the value won't appreciate with time

I thought about it, but I honestly do hate asking for money. My thinking is (and hope) if I keep the wife happy, then we keep on going and going like an energizer bunny.

But if she says something then I will have to do something.

I did get rid of Advally, as their earning were more then half less then what we were making before. And they NEVER PAID US for the few months we had them on board. We are back to our old setup now.

I am working on things which I will announce later. Its been a crazy few weeks here at home unfortunately. But hey I did get the Christmas stuff all up today... I didn't feel like doing it this. year because of my mom, but my step dad said she would be upset if she knew I didnt decorate. . So mom if your looking down on me... its all decorated now.
